If the wider public knew what is happening they would be shocked. In many schools today, 1% of students are destroying the education of the rest and taking up the most of the time/energy of the staff. Unsustainable.

1. Rarely gets offended
2. Starts every day with a clean slate
3. Talks w/ kids before/after class
4. Considers de-escalation a win
5. Doesn't need the last word

@norchcity It is 100% about clear and consistent boundaries for all, students and teachers. My first head told me, very wisely, expectations start with uniform. Let that slide and you soon slide into problems. Natures way is to push at boundaries, give in at the first hurdle and race lost
