@MrsSamtani I’m trying to wrap my head around the implications! Of course with ChatGPT et al, the act of writing an essay can be done faster (and often better) than by hand… but I think there is definitely value in the struggle of putting your thoughts down on paper, real or digital.

Definitely would benefit from some co-ordination.

I finally got access to the new Bing, powered by ChatGPT. It feels like the future of searching online, like having a personal assistant bringing you the results you are actually after (instead of opening hundreds of Google tabs and hunting through them yourself).

The only downside is that the new Bing isn't as fun as the original ChatGPT, and is quick to end the conversation when it has had enough of you!

It's not without risk (of bias, for example, or error), but any way of filtering the enormous trove of information on the internet has got to be taken seriously.

I'm catching up on the #bbcquestiontime discussion on ChatGPT and AI. It reminds me of those clips of talkshow hosts discussing the early internet. With one or two exceptions, there is unfortunately a lack of understanding and imagination about the coming AI revolution.

Big hat-tip to Darkest__Light on Reddit for this process. The great thing is that ChatGPT will remember your Writing Style (for a while) - so next time it comes to writing reports, the setup should be simpler.

With the right set-up, ChatGPT can write reports that read like your own.

Below👇:
- Get ChatGPT to analyse your old reports
- Ask ChatGPT to create a Writing Style profile, based on the way you write
- Get ChatGPT to use that profile to write new reports *in your style!*

Finally, apply this writing style to a set of data (e.g. from Excel) to generate reports that are written in your own style.
