Imtiaz Ali's #MainVaapasAauga is a love letter to love, hurt, displacement and belonging. His finest work yet. An anti-thesis of hate and venom filled world that we live in. One for keeps! And Naseer Saab delivers his GREATEST performance at the age of 75!!!!!
“Tere pass main” from Imtiaz Ali’s Mai vaapas aunga is the most soothing original song I’ve heard lately. Everything about it is pure. Deepali’s voice, Rahman’s music & Irshad Kaamil’s lyrics do wonder together. In times when all songs are 15 seconds wonder, this is for ages.
"All he knows is the romance left incomplete ; the split in the land that caused it may as well have been an earthquake.."

Main Vaapas Aaunga is not perfect, but I fell in love with the film. A newer Imtiaz Ali, a vintage Naseer. Instant favourite.
