Lack of information : Or should I say lack of willingness to look for information. There is no proper roadmap/guidance present for all the options at one place and we do not want to sit and research for hours. Also we don't know what are our interests.

One of the things which I learnt in the past few weeks is that when you use lambda function as backend, you just have to write the callback function for the route you want. Not like in Express /Django where you write the routes also. Routing is handled by ApiGateways.

@_miloi I am not an expert as I am just learning, the main advantage to DynamoDB is that it's faster than other databases when used in AWS.
