SSC-CGL exam is in chaos
It is primarily so because the tech partner chosen to conduct the exam is chosen on the basis of L1 system (which means giving the contract to the one who meets the technical requirements at the LOWEST cost)
IтАЩm not sure why even after being recommended time and over to move to a more robust infrastructure, to move to T1 system from the existing L1 system, why a blacklisted vendor has been assigned the job
I just want to highlight that lowest cost might not be the most efficient, more so when exams are concerned (which are already under a lot of pressure in India)
T1 vs L1
T1 awards contracts on time and performance, not just lowest bids (L1)
T1 has
- Clear deadlines & penalties
- Quality over cost
- It prioritizes meeting deadlines and quality standards and not just minimising the cost
T1 prevents subpar execution (e.g., crashed systems, misallocated centers) by valuing competence
While itтАЩs important that processes and policies are reformed, it is even more important that students are not left in lurch and that a more humane, kind and speedy approach is followed ЁЯЩПЁЯЩП

India has launched #OperationSindoor, a precise and restrained response to the barbaric #PahalgamTerrorAttack that claimed 26 lives, including one Nepali citizen. Focused strikes were carried out on nine #terrorist infrastructure sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, targeting the roots of cross-border terror planning. Importantly, no Pakistani military facilities were hit, reflecting IndiaтАЩs calibrated and non-escalatory approach. This operation underscores IndiaтАЩs resolve to hold perpetrators accountable while avoiding unnecessary provocation. A detailed briefing on the operation will follow later today.
