Literally close to tears at full-time, this ownership is putting us through utter hell.
Credit to Roberto De Zerbi for dragging the depleted squad over the line.
This can’t be celebrated, not for a great club like ours.
Vinai Venkatesham, Johan Lange, ENIC get out of our Club.
Incredible. #Tottenham secure Premier League safety on the final day.
Credit to Roberto De Zerbi for dragging this depleted squad over the line. But this isn’t success, and it can’t erase who put us here.
Vinai Venkatesham and Johan Lange MUST resign & ENIC MUST go.
Don Goodman is an absolute clown by the way. Pathetically biased and comically stupid in almost every single word he said on co-comms today. A joke from Sky to put him on, stupid, even.
an under-discussed aspect of today’s horrific officiating is that the ref, the VAR crew, and the commentating team only addressed Alderete’s challenge whilst completely ignoring O’Nien recklessly sliding in.
32 games, zero penalties for a reason. https://t.co/FhX4zM5xEW
Hi @SkySportsPL@SkySports - just wanted to flag that Don Goodman is possibly the worst and most biased I’ve ever heard on co-comms (and I’ve heard a lot of Alan Smith over the years).
He’s a disgrace.
This is so dirty from Brobbey.
Should have been a second yellow and arguably a straight red. Pushing someone into a collision is a scumbag move that can only end up in people injuring each other.
Spurs have been robbed of a sending off in a crucial relegation game.
without a doubt the worst performance from a referee I’ve seen. Every 50/50 & every card only went one way.
What’s worse is the co-commentator, who just happened to make 100+ appearances for Sunderland, was equally as biased in dismissing all of it.
Nevermind a second yellow. Stuff like this should ALWAYS be a straight red.
Endangering an opponent, deliberately. Serious foul play. Take your pick.
That’s a straight red. Not a 2nd yellow.
I am so baffled by the Tottenham fans who show nothing but negativity towards Ange Postecoglou. 😵💫
I think that section of our fanbase has really let the club down. We have gone backwards under the “tactical master” Thomas Frank. Ange was apparently too one-dimensional, and Frank was apparently super fluid and adaptable. Yeah ok. 🙄
When Ange speaks players, legends, people listen. His words have real impact and he rightfully gets respect for that. Trust me, that level of communicating is a lot rarer, and way more powerful in football than many people realise. When Frank speaks it’s all fluff, filler words, technical mumbo jumbo cr*p. He loves to sound “super technical”, but there’s no way he gets the same respect as Ange. And some of you might call Ange fat, but his presence is 10x that of Thomas Frank.
You watch the Overlap podcast, and watch Roy Keane. Keane is a big character, strong, fiery, but watch him when Ange enters the room. The respect is as clear as day, and Roy doesn’t give that out very easily.
We messed up, and we’re now paying the price. And the thanks Ange gets from a bunch of Spurs fans is ZERO. The guy delivered the parcel nobody else could, and we returned it to sender. Sums us up. Frustrated beyond belief.
Don’t come at me with that period at Forest either. He clearly made a mistake taking that job. He wanted to prove a point, but it was a rash decision and he come unstuck. There is no question that Ange’s style of play requires a pre-season, and he needs to be able to bring in some players who fit his style. He wasn’t able to do that at Forest. Hence why he’ll now wait for a job with a pre-season. And then watch what he does…
Johan Lange and Vinai Venkatesham wanted to KEEP Thomas Frank! 🤯
The Lewis Family told the pair to sack him.
@pokeefe1
That really goes to show how utterly incompetent they are…. 🤦♂️
