Look at this box we got here... it's our first Triple A baseball team!!
I grew up outside of Cincinnati and these guys over at the @LouisvilleBats are the Triple A affiliate of the Reds!
Thank you to Pat Kelly and the entire Bats organization! Good luck the rest of the year!
Very rarely will you need to buy your husband a new wallet, but when that day comes, it is somehow a major household decision and you cannot screw it up.
Men will carry the same wallet for 20 years with the corners falling apart and still say it’s fine.
So this is not the moment for creativity. Slim, durable, leather if he’s a leather guy, metal if he already likes that kind of thing.
Do not surprise a man with a weird wallet.
NFL teams favored in most games this season (using DraftKings odds):
16: LA Rams
15: Bengals
14: Bills, Lions, Ravens, Seahawks
13: Eagles, Packers, Texans
12: Bears
some thoughts on Lawrence to Cincy...
<buckle up>
Dexter Lawrence is a 28-year old stud
he spent most of his career playing vs elite interior OLs of the Eagles & Cowboys
he's been double-teamed at the highest rate in the NFL
he's now playing in the AFC North
Ravens lost their C
Steelers might start a 42-yr old QB
Browns have Deshaun or Shedeur
Lawrence should FEAST
the Giants were TERRIBLE when he wasn't on the field
last year, even in a "down" year for Lawrence:
Giants defense with...
Dexter Lawrence OFF the field:
#32 YPA (8.4)
#31 sack rate (4.1%)
#27 EPA/pass (+0.13)
#26 pass success (47%)
#23 pressure rate (32%)
Dexter Lawrence ON the field:
#7 pass success (40%)
#8 YPA (6.6)
#9 sack rate (7.7%)
#10 EPA/pass (+0.09)
#22 pressure rate (33%)
that was a "down" year for Dexter
the team was top-10 vs the pass when he was out there
bottom-10 when he wasn't
want a larger sample?
last 3 years:
Dexter Lawrence OFF the field:
#32 YPA (7.7)
#31 pressure rate (29%)
#31 pass success (48%)
#30 EPA/pass (+0.14)
#30 sack rate (5.5%)
Dexter Lawrence ON the field:
#8 pass success (42%)
#8 sack rate (7.4%)
#10 EPA/pass (+0.02)
#13 YPA (7.0)
#15 pressure rate (36%)
and again, the context is VITAL:
he was obviously the #1 best player on the Giants defense
every team knew it
they double teamed him at the #1 highest rate and he STILL made this big of a difference
and that was despite playing some of the NFL's top offensive lines in the NFC East as it relates tot he Eagles and Cowboys for YEARS
oh, and then there's this pretty ridiculous nugget:
A Bengals trade for Dexter Lawrence is unprecedented: This is the first time in the common draft era that dates back to 1966 in which the Bengals ever have traded a Top-10 pick for a player, per ESPN research.
🚨 Here is the full 40 minutes of my crew and I exposing California fraud, Minnesota was big but California is even bigger... We uncovered over $170,000,000 in fraud as these fraudsters live in luxury with no consequences. Like it and share it, the fraud must STOP.
We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening. These fraudsters have been able to defraud American taxpayers for years without any pushback from the public and politicians.
It is time to EXPOSE IT ALL and end America's fraud crisis.
🚨🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨🚨
Maxx Crosby revealed that #Ravens GM Eric DeCosta did NOT WELCOME him and his family to the facilities despite trading multiple first-round picks for him after he arrived in Baltimore.
DeCosta avoided Crosby for five hours and only met with him after his physical, and the vibes were “WEIRD.” Shortly after, Maxx was informed by his agents that the trade was off and that Baltimore was backing out.
It appears that even before his physical, Baltimore planned on backing out of the trade because their head coach and general manager did not welcome their new superstar to the team, which is extremely unusual.
Multiple NFL teams send their HC and GM to the plane or airport sometimes to greet their new star players… Baltimore‘s front office completely avoided Crosby even when he was in the facility and asked to meet with them.
This should be considered one of the biggest scandals in #NFL history and deserves to be investigated by the league.
WILD.
Defensive tackle Jonathan Allen and the Bengals have agreed to a two-year, $28M deal, per sources.
Cincinnati pursued the former Pro Bowler aggressively after Minnesota released him, reaching a deal with agent @blakebaratz of @TeamIFA
Terrible: Maxx Crosby and his family were in the Ravens’ building while Baltimore was attempting to sign Trey Hendrickson, per @DMRussini
“I can tell you that the Ravens spoke to Trey Hendrickson yesterday while Maxx Crosby was in the building. So that tells you that they were aware that something was going on… Maxx Crosby was there not knowing he was a dead man walking, that this was not going to be his team. That’s the problem here.”
Crosby was done dirty by DeCosta 🤦♂️
