The rejection of God's sovereignty is definitely a huge problem in modern Christians, however I think things are getting better.

I think the overall trend is away from ritualistic Christian life and towards independent relationship with Christ through personal reading and understanding of the scripture.

My prayer is that as more people value reading the scripture and seek truth from it, they will understand God's sovereignty and see that it is repeatedly communicated throughout the Bible.
