Yeah it's official I think I'm done with this place, for reasons.
Here are two other, better places to find me.
Account will be kept online because I don't like link rot.
Btw, given how ridiculously stupid Twitter is now, I'm somewhat sunsetting posts on this account. I think I'll just be posting major announcements and releases here.
My posts are effectively invisible here due to not "paying to play" anyway.
How about a new Commodore 64 #chiptune cover to spice up your Halloween?
Here's "Dracula's Tears", from the Wizardry Lab area in #Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. Now squeezed down to a mere 3 channels of SID goodness!

This iBook somehow came with a practically brand new battery in 2024. Only 7 cycles and it actually lasts. Perfect for writing outside on a perfect fall evening. PowerPC will never die!
Hey, it's my first time doing a #MIDI cover... just like the early days of the internet! This one is "Funk Enhanced Mix" from the eternally controversial homebrew game, #Paprium!

@fgasking One of the only FMV games that actually had passable "gameplay" instead of being an interactive movie. I do wonder if the CD32 build is till out there, but what I really want to surface are the original master tapes for the 3DO soundtrack... which are almost 100% certainly lost.
@FreddyVETELE I didn't need one before cause it didn't work on Tandy yet and my only XT-class PC is a 1000RL! With its single ISA slot any card that can do more than one thing is a big win!
Finally finished rebuilding my chiptune and video workflow on Linux, so now for some new covers! This one is JCH's "Commercial Rhythm", originally a FastTracker module, now on Yamaha YM3812 (OPL2).

@BlazeHedgehog Unfortunately, the mindset of the internet is no longer "do things for fun" - everything now seems to be done with the intent of either directly making money, or building a following in order to make money in the future. Very few are in it for the love of the game anymore.
Good thing I was stress testing VGMSlap's playlist handling ahead of VCF Midwest... ended up finding a big memory leak! Fear the malloc()!
R4 has been published as a hotfix for this.

@LinuxJedi@Gammitin I have a Backpack version of this, iirc I opened it up and it has an ESS chip inside. No driver disks with mine either - I have the drivers for the CD part, but not the audio (referred to as "BACKPACK Sound" in the readme)
I have just released VGMSlap R3! MS-DOS's most visually stimulating VGM player is better than ever!

New channel level bars to stare at! Percussion/rhythm mode works! Bug fixes! And the source code is more readable!

@Mac84tv Yeah, political views aside, I just don't think that's an appropriate email for a business to send. Thanks for the alternative recommendation as I stock up on stickers for VCFMW.
@SonicCDMedia Man, this game has all kinds of undocumented wackiness going on. Between the final and the prototypes it feels like there's always a new secret to be discovered.
