Even then, it's usually not major tentpole releases.

@Dough_boy91 @Schneider_Stv @ColtonOgburn Because they didn't trust his vision. Studios are not in the business of losing money. If they fire a director it's because they think the project has gone off the rails under their direction and that the movie will fail to turn a profit.
