England's opening game is in 6 days time and we all need to prepare... for watching Three Lions games with people of a different generation...
We are all going to hear a lot of; "why is Harry Kane dropping so deep?" "He needs to be in the box!" "Lineker didn't do that!"
I have prepared a script for you to use in that eventuality...
1) Dad (it is generally Dads)... we have a bit of an Argentina/Messi situation, where our best goalscorer is also our best passer
2) Harry Kane has done this throughout this season.
3) He ended up scoring 61 goals in 51 games in 25/26... he knows what he's doing
4) And... more importantly... Bayern scored 184 goals in 55 games... he was the central pillar of the most devastating attack in Europe... making those he played alongside better!
So if he's still dropping deep in the 75th minute with the score at 0-0... can we please not all collectively panic...
Back the player that has scored 26 more goals than any other England player IN HISTORY!
Let's all agree cyclists should pay Vehicle Excise Duty like car drivers have to. To be consistent we should calculate it using the same methods applied to motorised vehicles. Cyclists do not create emissions and do not damage the road. Therefore the charge comes to zero. Result.
@CCFCSSO@Coventry_City idea for away tickets next year.... people can get an extra pot of pts for season they can use to boost their normal points for a single game or otherwise. Eg, if you were on 900 and wanted to make sure you got a tic could boost to 1400 for one game.
Surely the rule is:
If you sit next to someone on a train because it's busy, when the carriage empties out, you don't stay sat next to them like you're two pensioners on a day trip, you move. Right?
Have done a bit of maths to put the nerves at ease a bit. Based on the Championship change in points between 33 and 46 games we need 17pts to come 2nd. hang in there! (last 13 games have given 21pts, which includes our dodgy xmas) #PUSB
