I have learned that the lawless Department of State Services (DSS) has arbitrarily and unlawfully detained a social media influencer known as Sarki @Waspapping_.

He was reportedly arrested over comments he made about the Israel–Iran war, particularly criticisms directed at the State of Israel over its egregious warmongering and crimes against humanity in Gaza and elsewhere.

No Nigerian citizen should be arrested or detained simply for expressing opinions about the actions of foreign governments or commenting on ongoing international conflicts. Freedom of expression must apply equally to discussions about global affairs and acts of war involving foreign interests.

The DSS must therefore immediately release Sarki @Waspapping_ and end this unlawful detention.

Nigeria cannot claim to be a democracy while citizens are arrested for expressing views on international events.

An 18-year-old chick from small-town Kentucky straight-up faked a brutal rape in a Walmart bathroom, wasting cops' time and screwing over real victims.
Autumn L. Tomlin from Munfordville claimed some random dude dragged her into a stall, assaulted her, and smashed her face into the wall. Cops found her on the floor with cuts on her face, blood everywhere, her pants stuffed in the toilet, and an open condom wrapper nearby. Sounds horrific, right?

But here's the twist, it was all BS. Surveillance cams showed ZERO one else in that bathroom the whole time she was there. No mystery attacker, just her alone. Forensics linked the condom wrapper right back to her own house (they probably matched it through prints or her admission). Her story had holes everywhere, and when confronted with the video and evidence, she cracked and admitted she made it all up, even cutting her own face with broken glasses to sell the lie. Total self-sabotage. What a mess.

She got hit with a Class D felony for false reporting and arrested on Feb 10. She's out now but has to face a judge on March 16. This happened on Feb 4 at the Glasgow Walmart Supercenter. Why do people pull this stunt? It ties up emergency services, costs taxpayer bucks, and makes it harder for actual survivors to be believed.

Before Poverty, Before Insecurity…
Ignorance Destroyed the Northern Nigeria.

We’re now reaping what we sowed for many years .

For decades, Northern Nigeria has been deliberately kept in the dark. Our people have been denied quality education and awareness, millions of children are out of school.

Many adults can’t read or reason beyond what politicians or clerics tell them. This ignorance fuels manipulation, religious extremism, poverty and insecurity.

Politicians use it to buy loyalty with handouts, some religious leaders exploit it to control minds and because of it, the North keeps falling behind while others move forward.

Ignorance has become more dangerous than any weapon because it kills ambition, silences truth, and keeps our youth dependent.

Sadly, people are giving birth to children they can��t feed, educate, or protect and the system rewards that recklessness with silence. This is how poverty and insecurity reproduce themselves generation after generation.

Our leaders exploit ignorance, religion, and hunger to stay in power. They fear an enlightened North because an informed people can’t be controlled with handouts or empty promises.

We must invest massively in education, awareness, and political enlightenment.

We must teach our people to think, question, and demand better. Until we fight ignorance, no development or reform will succeed.

It’s time to wake up the North.
