i think it’s time we stop impulsively nominating industry titans when they release mediocre music just because they’re popular. three of these albums are career worst and it would be absurd and embarrassing for all 3 to get in.
other songwriting giants. i think being able to get super specific about feelings in songs can make them even more universal because it gives us a way to say what we couldn’t necessarily explain. i think Toy Box is my best song lyrically and i hope to keep going down that path
