So we finished #varjakpaw today. Children all gutted I won’t read Outlaw immediately. (We’re starting another of my favourites - Edward Tulane instead). Didn’t stop many drawing Varjak during wet play. @whatSFSaid

@whatSFSaid I read it to every class I have ! But this class literally hang on my every word. They’re obsessed. I’ve had parents contact me desperately asking for any other of your books. I think they’ll be a few 🐅 under the tree in Rochdale this year

How do you get kids to love reading? Show them that YOU love reading! Make books central to everything you do. Always share books, talk about books, help them find new books to enjoy. And read to them every day - just 10 minutes a day can change their lives forever! #literacy
