It's official. FREE MINTS are the new Meta.

Here's why...

As the VP of Marketing at @AlterVerseGame we'd been working on "the most epic PFP collection ever" for 5 months.

☠️ Then @Azuki happened.
☠️ Then @ether happened.

The downturn in the NFT market forced us to pivot on the launch of our long-awaited SkyReign Immortal PFPs
– turning them into a FREE MINT.

It was a painful decision, because these NFTs had already cost us a lot of money to develop – and we were only halfway through the job.

But it turns out, this was the best decision we ever made.

We announced our Free Mint 2 weeks ago, and our community was ecstatic. This was a great sign, we knew we'd made the right decision.

There was a significant uptick in engagement, all of our content started hitting harder, but everything changed 3 days ago.

You could say we went viral, but I just think we found our people – or they found us.

Incredible creators started producing content about AlterVerse, everyone is starting to catch on to the potential of the platform.

In the last 3 days, our Discord grew from ~7,000 to 11,000.

It clear to me now that free mints are the new meta, so I'll explain why this works.
