@imxvi @JamesMartinSJ I understand; I have seen Catholic racism as well. Perhaps visit a Mass at a parish with a strong ethnic presence? There's so much beauty & diversity in our Church. My town has a large Mexican population & I've been to wonderful Spanish language Masses so full of life & love.

Thing is Donna, if my great-grandparents hadn't illegally sought a better life, I wouldn't be here trying to make a better & devoted Catholic life for my kids. It's the same with people escaping other countries today.
