It’s heartbreaking to know that even now the concealment continues. I found more than 11.6 million redactions in the Siri FOIA trove. Many appropriate and many simply to protect industry and regulators from accountability. I hope we eventually can get to the bottom of the DNA contamination investigation.
@xrppaulm@ABridgen I'm sorry you're in this hell. Please keep finding a way to survive. Build as much community support as you possibly can, given that disability is--by default-- difficult and lonely. When you speak out you are making a difference. Thank you.
After YouTube removed it, I linked the website to Vimeo. Then Vimeo took down the movie, so I set up a server to host PeerTube (open source software similar to YouTube). PeerTube didn’t handle closed captions particularly well so I was glad to finally be able to restore the YouTube link, a few days after Christmas. We initially had 5000 views in the first few days. The original YouTube takedown slowed momentum, but over time Anecdotals got more than 350,000 views.
@anettefri YouTube apologized and restored the link several weeks after they had removed the movie and said we had absolutely no recourse. Their prompt for restoring it was a tweet from Senator Johnson.
@Neuronomad1 I hope you decide to delay S until 2027. See how far you can get at TrueNorth. They have a long waitlist. I don’t know if they will accept you if they know the degree of your serious ideation. If you decide to live, the approach might help. Worth the experiment.
