As a game dev who just switched to Blender and has figured out exactly how to make AI work really well inside of Blender, I think the workflow is probably going to be less about prompt generating and more about artists integrating AI into their tools to work more efficiently.

AI is like a lever, if you’re weak, you can move something that someone strong could move. If you’re strong, that force-multiplier now allows you to do superhuman feats. I imagine that a single talented VFX artists suddenly is more effective than a full studio if he has the right tools.

One of the fun aspects of this too is that its actually fix one of the main issues with Harry Potter: the House system is extremely shallow and they seriously gloss over that in the end. The idea was always that Slytherin wasn’t supposed to just be “the racist bad guys”, but instead representing the virtue of ambition and cunning to achieve your goals. Voldemort was the one who twisted it into the being the Wizard KKK, so by Harry bonding with Malfoid in the end, they are essentially healing the rift in the houses symbolically.

She tries a bunch of "Certified Muggle Courtship Strategies" and it ends up just being weirdly translated pickup artist tricks, and as a result Harry is just confused, so she pivots to being mean to deflect her embarassment.

Eventually she switches over to reading romance novels in an attempt to learn how to woo him, but all of the ideas she gets are far too embarrassing to actually try on him, so she just gets addicted to reading romance books all the time and imagining Harry as the love interest.

The problem with the way people flirt today is that they misunderstand it.

Most young men today think flirting is superficial charm to mask that what you really want is sex. That's why so many women hate it.

That's also not flirting.

It also sets off alarm bells in most women because it's lying.

Flirting is an end in itself. You flirt for fun, NOT to induce a woman into a date.

Flirting is supposed to be fun. It's also supposed to be noncommittal. You're supposed to be able to be flirty with randos with zero expectations.

Why? It's practice so that you can flirt well when you're on a date.

When you're chatting with a stranger, you're not supposed to be trying to get a date. You're just supposed to have a little fun.

This is why you're supposed to flirt with anyone... Old ladies, fat girls, and so on. You're not trying to have sex with them. You're trying to make them feel good.

This is what too many today misunderstand about flirting.

I think that it's perfectly reasonable to say that Harry Potter isn't nearly good enough to justify the position in culture that it has, I've read sooo many books in the same niche that are much better.

At the same time, it's still good, it just has a bunch of annoying problems.

If you totally suck, it'll make you suck slightly less. If you're already skilled, then you have the knowlege to actually build a coherent structure for the AI to work within so that it's not constantly patching its own holes.

Actually a shockingly good movie that did this well was Onward, which used the MC learning his wizard powers throughout the movie to drive the plot, and also gave rules for each spell.

Hollywood is really really really opposed to the idea of ever actually having an interesting power system or magic that you can follow along with.

I think it's due to their belief that magic and powers are baby shit and that they have no respect for the audience's ability to follow these things
