Behaviour in schools is the single biggest barrier to learning. A few years back @ianwhite21 produced an excellent thread on reframing positive behaviour with 20 ways to help manage behaviour in the classroom. I did 4 one pagers to highlight how good these methodologies are. They are available for download from my shared drive.

@RogersHistory It certainly can be! Think there needs to be a structured programme of activities that allow staff to build sound and solid relationships and get to know their tutees, to be able to effectively support them! You?

@MrWardPE This is really good! Chuncked with various bits done over time is good so not all in big sections! Just don’t give kids 20/20 pieces and tell them to just crack on! Horrendous from some staff…it’s embarrassing…some of whom are actual moderators! Sure you’ll be fine 👍

@PastoralThings Don’t tell them their choices until end of the year! I know strings it out but also staff/schools can see if the chosen subjects actually match up to the ones the kids work well in and do well! 👍
