It is 57 days since GCSE Results Day. Today, 62 @CulchethHS students had their GCSE grade in a subject increased by a grade with 9 increased by 2 grades. In the mean time, students didn’t get in to college. Students didn’t get on first choice courses. 1/3

Are we guilty of getting too caught up in the aesthetics of lessons sometimes? What I felt was my best lesson this half term involved minimal planning, a whiteboard and a pen - no fancy resources or slides. A personal reminder that sometimes, less is more.

Watched a primary PE lesson today, led by sports coaches to give the teachers PPA time. A boring lesson and no motivation for the students. At such a young age these students need to love PE, they need enjoyment and encouragement #grassroots

@thebizpe just wondering about which protocol students should use for the 30m sprint test. Your book says to use a stationary start whereas another AQA textbook says to use a flying start? Which would be awarded credit in an exam?

@gcsepe2017 My understanding is that you only need individual candidate footage if a video moderation has been requested. Recording of a live moderation match can be more ‘general’.
