According to ESPN, it was 49ers VP of security Jeremy Jones who wouldn't allow reports to see the accident report that supposedly says Shanahan is at fault and would prove the "clerical error."

According to LinkedIn, Jones' has deep law enforcement ties with 16 years at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's office. 49ers' Director of Security, Larry Day, worked with the San Jose PD for 28 years.

If Shanahan wanted to get himself out of legal trouble, he has the right people around him.
