I won one of the 50 Microsoft 50th Anniversary Surface Laptop. Before repair, I asked if it could be replaced with a normal unit and was told in writing it was a “same unit repair”.

I got a standard replacement instead.

This is not about CPU/RAM/SSD specs.

The original had anniversary identity, provenance, gold logo, 1975 engraving and special boot/logo branding. The replacement has a different serial/SKU and none of that.

I want my original device returned, repaired or unrepaired.
