@MissTateMidkiff My first initial Ah-Ha was similar to your first one. I really liked it, but decided to change it, since you already did it. Most people think that good ideas just "pop" into everyones heads quickly, but instead they time lots of time to be "perfected"
@MrsBisfromKC Learning helplessness is one of the hardest parts of our job, but if you can find a way to motivate students to think for themselves, you are going to help them see that NOBODY is helpless!
@birnell_mw I feel that the "old school" teaching has its benefits, but we have to start changing the way we are doing things, otherwise we will never see the next generation actually change the world, they will just rinse and repeat it all. Love your thoughts!
My two ah-has: 1) We have built our education around the "fast food" model. Everything is the same for each student. 2) Anything can be a teachable moment, don't get stuck in the rut of what you know, you must expand, and use any moment as a teachable moment! #parkedtech
With the end of the school year fast approaching, don't forget to tell your students how much you enjoyed this year, they need it more than you know! #teachinglife
