i STILL don’t understand how so many of you were hoodwinked into believing the government should not use the money you pay in taxes to create a social safety net that benefits you, fund public healthcare, lower housing costs, and make daily life more affordable.
I’m so tired of the “grow your own food” response to all of these recalls. I don’t want a damn homestead! I want all the damn tax money I pay to fund agencies that protect our food!
Yes, in fact, I do think the guy flipping burgers at McDonald’s should be able to afford rent, bills, and groceries with his paycheck alone. That’s kind of the whole point of having a job and I can’t believe this is considered a radical position for me to take.

@SupernovaMomma Prior to the Reagan era music was a mandatory subject from K-12. In secondary school you had to choose either band or choir (or orchestra if you were lucky enough) and by high school you usually had a choice to continue but still had to do something with fine arts.
Peri/menopause isn’t a “new trend.” It’s what happens when an ENTIRE generation of women hits a life transition we were never properly studied for, educated about, or prepared for. GenX and Xennials weren’t “caught off guard” because we’re dramatic…we were kept in the dark. I see you. XO, Dr. Jen
