@Allylewistt Yes I’ve seen results from the GL screener for one of my own children and things didn’t quite add up.

@EdTangled @bevhoe We don’t even have a proper government here so even more complex this end 🤷‍♀️ We are also the worst paid in the whole of the UK ...teachers are going to be so burnt out they will leave the profession.

@EdTangled @bevhoe I feel there’s not enough spaces in special schools in N.I so those children are being put in units and the children who should be in units are in mainstream where they are in a big class sizes with less support. Space in the building is also a problem.

@EdTangled @bevhoe Children with complex needs need quiet spaces. This also means taking adults away from other children to take children to these quiet spaces & that’s if the quiet space is available. It’s definitely a juggle. We need more funding & more training. Schools need support.

@mrstooth @C_Fitz_ @AineGilchrist Lol lockdown homeschool is totally different to real homeschooling. It haunts me too. I was homeschooling one child already (she asked to be removed completely because she wasn’t transfer important) and lock down homeschooling the other two. The real homeschooling was lovely 💗
