Another day of wonderful community helpers! Thank you @RandolphEMC for talking to our K-1 kiddos about being a lineman and engineering, why your job is important to our communities, and about all the education you completed for your job. @BHicksk1 @MooreLeigh3691#OneChatham
Mrs. Kayly, our school nurse, came out to share with our kindergarten and first grade students about her profession. She explained a nurses role, why her job is so important, and shared some of the tools she uses. Thank you for all you do. #OneChatham @BHicksk1 @MooreLeigh3691
After reading The Foot Book by Dr. Seuss each student was able to trace and measure their foot using different items. Then we talked about why we needed more of the smaller items and less of the larger ones. Check out our hallway for examples of our work! @themrsbrady09
After learning about daily weather patterns and types of precipitation we spent our science block making and discussing types of precipitation. At one group they learned about rain and in the other we made snow ☔️❄️#welovelearning
These first graders rocked math today! Using Fox in Socks as our anchor text, they subitized to create number sentences with a missing number. They also decided if they were adding or subtracting to find their final number.
Celebrating our upcoming winter break by showing off our brain power to our families with Winter Academic Centers. Thank you to all the parents that came out and made today possible 💙
