@JaneyGodley So very sorry for your loss. Your beautiful Ma kept our hearts singing and lifted us up during difficult times. She was our shining light during COVID and helped us to focus on simple joys. Resulting in us finding love and laughter in the everyday and ordinary. Xxx
VALE Gary Grant … an amazing NSW educator of Careers Education. He touched the lives of many staff, students & families with his passion & commitment helping others find educational pathways. Developer of the amazing Jobjump resource @AGavrielatos @NSWEducation Raise a glass!
@MST_Writes Bravo to you and your wonderful daughter … many high schools have spoken to students and families about this for years but it largely falls on deaf ears. The ATAR has become a right of passage and status symbol. There are many other types of successes celebrated at schools.
December 3 we celebrate International Day of People with Disability. At WPGHS we all have one thing in common; a right to learn in a safe and inclusive space where our differences are respected, our strengths are celebrated and our voices are heard.@IDPwD
@AmyRemeikis Options need to be available to suit the learning needs of all students. Some thrive in single sex schools others in coed - it is an individual preference. It is really important not to get involved in a single sex school vs coed debate in terms of generalisations re gender.
WPGHS would like to share a project our Yr7 Refugee students & students from Lakemba Public School created together. These are their stories they wanted to share with everyone. A spectacularly moving collaboration.
