When we go back in-person, I am going to make it mandatory that my students wear shirts with whichever anime or cartoon character, athlete, celebrity or letter that is on their Google profile...

@teacher2teacher I use songs and videos to practice a skill before going to an actual text. @nearpod had helped a lot with keeping students engaged. Relationships are the key to engagement though! I have been taking 5 minutes at the beginning of class for a check-in where students share

@cubuffs2020@teachergoals Teaching. Many teachers teach a full day and then go home and work until 9 or 10. I personally donโt have kids because I know I would not be able to give them what they deserve right now. Your argument is similar to โall lives matter.โ No one ever said you donโt work hard.

@SCE please realize that whenever you schedule an outage, you are causing children to miss out on their education. I teach middle school and missing one day requires a lot of catch-up from students and causes them anxiety. Just throwing it out there in case you didnโt realize!
