This is a niche hot take, but I wish all women in the CREC could know that it is completely fine and ok to not follow the Bible Reading Challenge for your daily Bible readings. It's a great plan worth doing at some point, but it is not a superior plan. Just read your Bible!
I have 2 girls. The oldest is 10 years old. I have never gotten rid of any shoes for either of them. I am now purging the baby stuff.
Tulsa Goodwill shoppers: There’s about to be a massive influx of girls shoes available.
Like 3 large boxes of shoes worth.
Dear @Airbnb hosts,
Please make sure there is one fork for every person staying in your home. If the home sleeps 10, you need to have more than 4 forks.
Thank you.
With how things just settled this year my kiddos will get to see the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean within 5 months of each other. Which also means that our family will have driven the length of the United States and back in one academic year.
I’m not a big believer in signs, but when you are contemplating changing curriculum and the cat throws up all over your current curriculum with no way to salvage…it kinda feels like a sign.
It snowed 8” in Tulsa this weekend. So far everything continues to be closed through Thursday.
Which I’m honestly fine with, I don’t mind enough snow for the kids to play in, but there’s zero expectation for me to be anywhere in it also.
Why does it seem every church in Oklahoma is either a feminized/feminist light worship concert, or the church is run by men who think women were not created with brains?
Husband asked what I wanted to do for my birthday next month...seeing that its a big one.
I would like to go camping (glamping really) for a weekend.
This is not possible in February and that makes me sad.
It is easier for me to believe that I was overdramatic and a wimp than to believe that God may have healed my ankle swiftly.
Somewhere in my past someone told me that God doesn’t heal people anymore and I apparently believed that, despite overwhelming examples otherwise
I got a severe sprained ankle about 10 days ago. I spent most of Christmas on my feet and did not feel the need to wear the walking boot (first time since the incident). I have no other explanation except that the Lors sustained me. I’m a little stunned.
I had a severe ankle sprain on Monday morning. I’ve been following the minimal direction given to me at the ER, but also rubbing my ankle with a Comfrey salve.
If you don’t have this in your first aid kit, you need to get some. It’s a magic healing balm.
I know people don’t want to hear about the effects of a c-section, but I do note that my c-section kid catches every cold and it takes her a very long time to recover. Whereas my VBAC kid is hardly ever sick and usually only down for 24 hours when she is.
