Super shoutout to Macomb High senior Breana Kalb who passed a lost 5 year old this morning on a busy street on her way back from an off campus class. She drove back and then stayed with the child until police arrived. This is my kind of TicTok challenge! Do a good deed. #mac185

Help me understand friends and colleagues...why are we still prepping for standardized tests after the year we’ve had?? Our district level data is way more valuable and valued by educators. HELP!
First quarter is officially over. So proud of the @Edison staff and students. I truly work with some incredible people. Hope you sit back and enjoy your weekend!
Macomb High Leadership class is welcoming us to school this week with messages at the entrances during National Mental Health Awareness Week Oct 4-10. This is my view at morning bus drop off @CoachKeene#mac185
I’ve been quiet but only because I’m at a loss for words. Teachers, you’re rocking it. Hybrid, in person, remote..whatever. Never think you’re not giving it your all. We know you are and we’ve got your back! Love to all the teachers out there!
Since going hybrid our Specialty team started “Wellness Wednesdays” and it’s been a fantastic addition to our crazy schedules. Our @EdisonBombers people are amazing! #mac185
Teachers plates are still overflowing. They still have at least five jobs. Teacher, curriculum developer, IT for students, therapist for parents struggling, & office worker. All while trying to take care of their family too. They need grace & support now more than ever.
Goes without saying, thank you 2 all the educators out there. Regardless of our position we have all, myself included, had to rethink & reimagine how we teach, lead & communicate with our communities & students! Thank you 4 your grace, patience & understanding as we grow together
The Specialty Teachers at Edison School ROCKS!! They created Wellness Wednesday for their colleagues which included exercise stations, Cricket sessions and painting! It felt GREAT just being there! #MAC185
Let's remind everyone out there - kids are not behind, they are where they are. Everybody has been put in extraordinary circumstances because of the pandemic, but if kids keep hearing that they are behind it is unhelpful. We know how incredible our kids are and what they can do!
