This is pretty infuriating. As a graduate of a great UM language program I've watched deteriorate over 15 years, what the hell is that administrative money even going towards? Ignore athletics, even. What has warranted that increase? I want to hear it because it's pissing me off.

UM’s admin spend grew 130% the last 7 years, while athletics rose 54%. Over that span enrollment went up 8% and classroom instruction spend fell 2%. In March the budget committee put athletics first among its “top recommendations for reductions.”
