hacks are a shitty thing and it's really great to see the instant commitment near intents made to make users whole!

having said that, holding funds inside near intents shouldn't be best practice, in the worse case scenario they could be drained, and in the best case scenario where the protocol covers the losses from the hack (like now), the funds are frozen

near intents should only be used for the swap itself, to minimize the timeframe your funds are at risk

we developed a pretty simple sdk so developers can use different cross-chain swap protocols (like near intent) with dwallets, and their users can control the native accounts on every chain from their solana wallet, and immediately withdraw to them instead of holding their funds on a custodial bridge
