🌐 Have you ever clicked a work link in SLACK or TEAMS only to find it opened in your personal browser profile? 😤 Or had to switch from your personal Gmail to your work account every single time?
I created Browser Picker to eliminate that annoyance for good. 🎉
This native macOS menu bar app serves as your default browser, routing every link to the exact browser and profile you need. 🎯
👤 The standout feature: profile-level routing. No more simply opening in Chrome; it's now "open in Chrome → Work profile" 💼 or "Firefox → Client X profile" 🧩. Each link lands in the correct account, logged in and ready. Say goodbye to switching and mix-ups. ✅
✨ Additional features include:
🔀 Smart rules to automatically route links by URL (work → work profile, personal → personal) 🖱️, or a quick picker to choose browser and profile on the fly 🧠.
Full profile discovery for Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Firefox, and Safari 🪶.
Lightweight and native, it quietly resides in your menu bar. 🔒 Signed and notarized by Apple, so no scary warnings.
If you manage multiple browser profiles throughout the day like I do, this is a total game changer. 💪
📥 Install it your way:
🍺 Homebrew: brew install --cask mertizci/tap/browser-picker
💽 Or download the DMG directly from the GitHub releases page.
⭐ Check it out on GitHub — feedback and stars are always welcome!

I built an open-source tool that removes invisible AI watermarks (SynthID, StableSignature, TreeRing) from images.
A single diffusion pass at low strength is enough to fool SynthID. If this is supposed to be the backbone of AI content detection, we should know how fragile it is.
