@ThatEricAlper HOLY HONK!
That’s a damned good question.
The first time I remember being deeply moved by music was somewhere around 1st grade.
Elton John’s “Daniel” was occasionally on the radio. The melody destroyed me. I didn’t understand the lyrics, but there was truth and sadness there.
@norbert5150@RockNRoLL_85 I highly recommend her new song: “Fly”
It’s LITERALLY 25 minutes of Yoko making buzzing noises pretending to be a housefly.
I was super stoned and laughed so hard through the entire thing.
@inqdragon2 The garlic bread.
I should never use the broiler. Even it’s only two minutes, once the food is under the heat my mind shuts off and only the smell of charred bread will make me remember that I had something going on in the kitchen.
@inqdragon2 I had a lemon pepper ice cream in San Francisco once that was very good.
Duck fat ice cream was surprising.
I recently got a toasted black sesame ice cream from my local grocery store.
@kelly_ques More than I used to.
I tore my bicep moving a table on my 50th birthday. A year later I ruined my shoulder by sleeping on it wrong.
My 40s weren’t much different from my 20s; still able to throw a full plywood across the garage, but lately this mortal frame is going downward fast
@joeonthebluff@Stephsteph6767@ChaosLensX Certainly. Being suspicious of people who are responsible for 1/2 of the gun related deaths in this country, who are also immune from prosecution, is just so silly, right? 🙄
