The charity claimed tax back at the basic 20% rate, you can usually claim the rest back (& maybe then donate it too!)

@RupertLowe10 I am owner/part owner of 4 units in Lancashire. The business rates change will be utterly disastrous and even many owners don’t know their new valuations and what the rate changes mean. Lots of small businesses will see 100%+ increases in business rates as well as > minimum wage
