He accurately understands that it’s an “eras” thing. Not quality. He even agrees SM2 is better than BND. The comp is still accurate IMO.

@Yaskprzq @JAR0DC0RE Not at all because we knew where it was and understood enough about that because context. If the movie had been made on its own without previous films building up to it then it would have been super weak because the exposition feels unearned.

@Yaskprzq @JAR0DC0RE If you don’t understand that the audience clearly knowing Thanos’ objective and the exposition of said items needed (stones) having been fully shown was massive to the framework while Kang had similar build up only for a sharp pivot could hurt Doomsday’s success I can’t help

@AvengersUpdated I certainly hope people don’t think the incursions are = to stones. We have no clue what the incursions relationship w Doom are (potential leaks be damned). Again it’s possible to do both just hard. But to act like there wasn’t real groundwork laid for Thanos makes me very angry.

@AvengersUpdated So much groundwork for the PLOT was laid out so we COULD focus on Thanos and make him a compelling protagonist. Is it possible to do plot and character set up in the same movie? Sure if it’s simple/if the movie is long enough. I fear neither will be the case, but it is feasible.

@JAR0DC0RE People not understanding screenwriting 101. By doing all the stone set up in previous film when he starts his mission there’s zero exposition needed. So when he has two by the first ten minutes explanation was not needed. was his character arc all done in the movie? Yes.

@buggy_con If you are gonna sit here and say that you noticed those things frames without pre-judging it/looking for them, I will take you at your word for it. That’s just extremely unusual and I feel like you’d have enough common sense to understand how that looks from face value.

@buggy_con The reason I said I didn’t want to start an argument is because stating my observation from the trailer might look like me trying to make some thing out of nothing. I’m just genuinely perplexed at how one might notice those two frames without looking for it.

@buggy_con I’m not gonna turn this into an X argument. But watching the trailer just now, I didn’t notice it because the action takes center stage and I was not looking for it. Had to pause to find and see that specific frame where you see the inappropriate angle that you posted.
