13 flags are flying in honor of our 13 fallen heroes!

Main flags were lowered to half-staff while each of the flags planted at #NR's schools were dedicated to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice supporting Operation Freedom’s Sentinel evacuation.

@MelissaShurman Literally a split second! Ha But agreed, it was so nice! 🥰

[Gianna Accattato @msAin2ndgrade]

Today was such a great day for us HES/WHES teachers. This car parade, seeing my S’s/ S’s of the district and families was the highlight of the last 2 1/2 months for me. Seeing the signs for us, the cheering , and apprecation was even more special! #WeR1NR

@schechter_barry @AmarisScalia @KFelicello Haha I’m glad you enjoyed it. I was a little rusty and making mistakes everywhere !

[Gianna Accattato @msAin2ndgrade]

@schechter_barry @haverstrawelem @AmarisScalia @BenitoHerrero2 @KFelicello Thank you for everything you’ve done for us this year. It was such a pleasure having you, and I know the kids and Mrs. Quinn feels the same.

[Gianna Accattato @msAin2ndgrade]

@schechter_barry @haverstrawelem @AmarisScalia Once we finish this current book I’ll continue Wonder and send you the links so you can listen! 😁

[Gianna Accattato @msAin2ndgrade]

@schechter_barry @haverstrawelem @AmarisScalia To be continued.....
I was going to keep doing read alouds of “Wonder” on my google classroom. But the 4th grade team chose a different book that goes a long better with our unit. So don’t worry the kids don’t know how it ends either!
