People are still shocked by vulgar, disgusting speeches from DMK leaders??? This is not a bug in their system, it is a feature. For over 60 years, they have got away with abusive, vulgar public discourse. Udhay is merely folllowing in the footsteps of three generations of his party leaders. 🤦🤦🤦
We used to hear 30 years ago about money being swindled by showing bridges and roads that were never built in Bihar. Never thought I'd see that in 2026 in Tamil Nadu.
This cannot be done by one man. There must have been collusion at multiple levels. Let us see if the law will catch up with them.
The DMK ecosystem is attacking me that the school issue I reported was a lie I concocted to help the TVK government. Let me state the facts.
We run two rural schools, both free NIOS schools under the Kalaivani Kalvi Maiyam umbrella, one in rural Tenkasi and the other in rural Theni.
The Theni school was originally started and run by a retired IPS officer, a honest and upright man. He built very nice facilities but had to shut down his CBSE school because the state government demanded too much money to issue the NOC. He told me that as a honest retired officer he did not have the money to pay and they would not issue the NOC otherwise.
He urged us to take over his trust so we could run our free NIOS school in the premises. That is how we started our NIOS school in Theni.
Unlike in Tenkasi, where I live, the Theni school faced occasional harassment from the DMK government because we did not have a state government registration, so we tried getting state government approval again (this time for the state board) and that of course would also cost money. So it was in a limbo.
Meanwhile in Tenkasi we wanted to build new school facilities (we were operating in make-shift facilities, the ones that came in frequent photos) and we applied for DTCP approval to construct the new buildings. Everyone who knows DTCP in our state knows what kind of corruption happened there under the DMK.
We waited patiently for DTCP approval for the new school buildings but the approval never came as long as the DMK was in power. The approval came automatically once the government changed.
It is this DTCP approval that I posted about in X. I want to once again appreciate the refreshing change.
Not only did the approvals come, government people told us not to pay money to anyone for any approvals. I have to appreciate this in public, having endured what we had endured before.
This is the "lie" that DMK wants to attack me on.
I do not need their certificate on my character.
They can examine their conscience and ask why a technology nerd like me who is mostly immersed in code would post these.
If they think I would back down by their vile personal attacks because I am a Brahmin or TVK Stooge or Sanghi or whatever, I will tell them this: unlike you dynasts I grew up with nothing. I studied in Tamil medium schools. I know how to live on nothing. I have dedicated the remainder of my life to make Bharat self reliant in technology while reviving our rural areas, the soul of our eternal sanatana civilization.
I will not be intimidated by their attacks. I am unafraid of death, why would I be afraid of the mere DMK?
And if they had any conscience they can return the money they looted (they know there they keep it) and then they can attack my character.
I will now go back to optimizing the code of our compiler!

Message to Tamilnadu Chief Minister Vijay.
Dear Vijay,
1. I recollect a phone call with you last year in which you told me that my tweets give you a lot of encouragement". So I take liberty to write to you assuming you may read this.
2. You started governance on a great note. You have enthralled the whole of TN.
3. Often good governance is overshadowed by irresponsible statements or press karathus or interviews.
4. Take the example of your MDU Central MLA Mustafa. There was no need for him to blabber. But he did it.
5. Now tonight the entire national media will debate this. TN media will debate this. This debate will divert the mood of people.
6. Think carefully what I told you. Even BJP voters and Right Wing voters are voting you. They were voting you because they were fatigued by DMK. But Mustafa just tried his best to show that TVK is no different from DMK.
7. Having seen blunderheads for a long time in politics and how they damage good work and how they end up distracting voters, my advice to you is to order all your MLAs to focus on work instead of making stupid and irresponsible pathetic statements to divide society.
8. Sanathanam is not caste system. Yes please condemn caste system by all means but educate your MLAs that Sanathanam means the Indian way of life as we practice daily. Sanathanam includes the Kolam outside the house gate, it includes the village Ayyanar Saamy festivals/markets, it includes the Thai Poosam Kavadi. We cannot eliminate our own way of life.
Wishing you all the best.

Why didn't The New Indian Express name these two IAS officers who were found to divert Chennai Corporation staff to work for their family members? Despite two young women reporters working so hard to bring out this news?
Did PK Sekar Babu call TNIE's Chairman and Managing Director Manoj Kumar Sonthalia to stop the story?
Let's see if we get answers.
@omjasvinMD The beauty of this guy @SriramMadras who doesnt even live here and vote talks such crap is purely based on 2 factors. 1. He is an Dravidianstock 2. The fear of DMK being out of power.
This is nothing short of defamation against a large section of labour class Dalit population of the city. Otteri in North Chennai and Dooming Kuppam in Loop Road have a high number of labour class population who all work as sanitary workers, fishermen, gig workers, auto drivers, tiffin vendors and in many other professions. They earn a livelihood for themselves by hard work and they will vote for whoever they want. Making a mockery of them, calling them “animal planet” for their political preferences is nothing short of malice and has to be called out.
I have no issue with anything you said. You do not have to justify why you live in America.
I am not posting this in normal times. To repeat what I said in my post, a good number of Americans no longer want us there. And for those Indians who don't yet have the green card or US citizenship, precarious life on the H1B visa is another big issue.
So I suggested it may be time for some people to reexamine the "where should I live" question.
I live in a small village in a very rural corner and use the local roads (some good, some bad), shop in the local shops, enjoy roadside tea, join the feast at the local temple and so on. I am quite happy with life here, in my little corner of Bharat. My presence makes life slightly better for local people and I am grateful to be able to make that small difference.
Let me start this post with a clear Disclaimer:
Predicting election outcomes is even more imprecise than predicting the weather.
I have been lucky in predicting the last several Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections right and am due to get it wrong.
Over the last 2 months I have spoken with thousands of people trying to gauge the mood of the electorate and have visited several of the constituencies too.
In my analysis I have relied on the 2024 LS elections data rather than the 2021 data as I believe this may reflect the ground situation better.
I have given TVK an overall vote share of 20%, (higher in the urban areas and lower in the rural areas) though I am not convinced that is how much vote share they will get overall. I have factored in VIP constituencies, the intra party issues in some seats, the weakness of the alliance partners and a number of other variables.
I have made one assumption: The TVK will take more or less equal vote share from both sides though I have geographically segregated this. A slight deviation to either side may not have much of an impact, but a large deviation will change the projections drastically.
While doing all this my focus was on seeing if the incumbent party the DMK would be able to hold on or not. The reason is, when there is a third player there is a natural slight edge for the incumbent. When in doubt about a seat I gave it to the DMK alliance.
The numbers I arrived at are as follows:
1.DMK Alliance: 100-115
2.AIADMK Alliance: 118-133
3.TVK: 0-3
Could this be totally off the mark? Of course it can. If TVK takes much more of the AIADMK vote then the situation can reverse and the DMK Alliance could secure a majority.
Also if AIADMK can hold its dominance in the Kongu belt and if the PMK pulls its weight in the Vanniyar belt and if the allies of the DMK implode (Cong, DMDK, VCK), it could push AIADMK+ higher.
For the DMK alliance to win Vijay has to take a lion's share of his votes from the AIADMK alliance and a low proportion of votes from the DMK alliance.
My gut feel is that there seems to be a slight edge for the AIADMK alliance.
However, I do not see a total sweep for either alliance unless Vijay takes his votes totally from one side and wrecks the other side.
I do not know as yet what the Exit Polls are going to say tomorrow. Once I get further inputs will update.
PS: The TVK factor has made predicting this election the toughest one in recent times. There is more than a fair chance I could be getting this wrong.
