Last week I connected with @alicewillhelp about getting a gift card for a s whose shoes I had noticed were way too big… guess who had new shoes walking into school today?? He was SO excited to show off how they light up 🥰 my heart is so full & I’m so grateful for Alice’s Kids💕

One of my favorite ways to connect with families: Happy Mail! I actually keep a spreadsheet to try to make sure that every student has received at least one piece of happy mail within the first few months of school to build those positive relationships with families 💕

We are loving being entomologists in 2nd grade and learning all about the life cycle of our Monarch butterflies through observation 🔎

We’re getting off to a great start in 2nd grade! Finalizing classroom promises, committing to them by signing them, learning how to work with other during math and finding all sorts of ways to count collections of objects!! 🤗
