@TMFanSupport with expected air quality issues expected to continue all weekend and being sensitive, I'm not comfortable attending the outdoor show on Sunday at RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto. What are my options? I'm traveling from out of town, would like time to cancel travel.
We actually did have regulations in Ontario for this. Kathleen Wynne passed them into law! Then Doug Ford removed them. So any Conservative complaining about this can thank their special guy!
Here's a piece of literature by me, suitable for seventeen-year-olds in Alberta schools, unlike -- we are told -- The Handmaid's Tale. (Sorry, kids; your Minister of Education thinks you are stupid babies.)
John and Mary were both very, very good children. They never picked their noses or had bowel movements or zits. They grew up and married each other, and produced five perfect children without ever having sex. Although they claimed to be Christian, they paid no attention to what Jesus actually said about the poor and the Good Samaritan and forgiving your enemies and such; instead, they practised selfish rapacious capitalism, because they worshipped Ayn Rand. (Though they ignored the scene in The Fountainhead where “welcomed rape” is advocated, because who wants to dwell, and also that would have involved sex and would de facto be pornographic. Well, it kind of is, eh?) Oh, and they never died, because who wants to dwell on, you know, death and corpses and yuk? So they lived happily ever after. But while they were doing that The Handmaid’s Tale came true and Danielle Smith found herself with a nice new blue dress but no job. The end.
Just over ~3 hours left for runners to get back for a fun run (3:37am EST) Seemed like John & Tomo had made good time to Fire Tower - they've been out there almost 12 hours, Sébastien about an hour behind them
So many factors are playing a part... Laz must be loving this #BM100
All of you recognize this sign, which is from the iconic Yellow Gate. This is the sign that was in the documentary; the sign Jasmin Paris collapsed next to when she finished the Barkley; the sign countless Barkers have passed as they ran the race . . . 1/2
@cg_blue_@keithdunn You must complete each loop in 12 hours to be eligible for the full Barkley (which is 60 hrs total)
For the fun run, you have 13 hr 20 min to complete each of the first 3 loops, totaling 40 hours. You must meet those time frames with no carry over bn loops allowed
We are 36 hours into the race, meaning the three runners still on Loop 3 cannot continue to Loop 4. However, if they complete Loop 3 within 40 hours they will be credited with a Fun Run. That’s where the real race is now. #BM100
