Your depressed mind might be telling you:
You are not worth it, you can't get through this, you will always feel this way.
I Promise You:
You ARE worth it. You WILL get through this and you will NOT always feel this way. #BellLetsTalk

This past year for me was incredibly challenging. Being praised for “speaking up” but as a Black woman in media there’s this level of anxiety I truly wish on no one. Fear. Hate mail. Vile tweets. Feeling like an only at times.Eventually it chips away at you. #BellLetsTalk
For those who might be confused, today is Bell Let’s Talk Day in Canada. Bell will donate to mental health initiatives by contributing 5 cents for every applicable tweet using the #BellLetsTalk hashtag.
My truth: I’m having more bad days than good right now; more moments than I care to admit where I don’t feel like a great mother, daughter or friend.
But it helps me to say this out loud, and admit that I need support sometimes.
It’s okay to be human. ❤️ #BellLetsTalk
Today we’re reminded how important it is to check in on family, friends, and ourselves. Let’s take this reminder and carry it with us throughout the year. #BellLetsTalk

It's a great day to check in on family and friends, but it's also a day to check in on yourself. I've been there. It hurts. It's not easy. But there is help. The first step is often the hardest but it's also on the path to better days. You are not alone. #BellLetsTalk
Today support #BellLetsTalk we all can ask & need to ask for help when needed! Scott Brehm was popular, a N.H. state championship wrestler, a football player, a fraternity brother, one of my best friends and a victim of mental illness at the age of 24. Miss you brother! 4/6/1995
As athletes, when we get physically injured, we get treatment. But when we struggle mentally, we often do it in silence. Let’s break the stigma around mental health. Check in on our friends and family and let them know we are here to listen. #BellLetsTalk
