In the name of Allah SWT, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful. If running again will not be in the interest of the excellent people of Kaduna North and Nigerians as whole. Then may God give it to another. In the coming weeks, I will be going around by the grace of God to engage the people of Kaduna North in their homes and streets, as well as the stakeholders of our party, the African Democratic Congress, (ADC). I am not entitled to anything and I will work as hard as I can and always do to state our record and convince the public. We will do this while willing to support whoever emerges in the primary election. Regardless of the outcome we will campaign for the candidates in our party with the precision, honesty and transparency we are known for. My focus is still ensuring justice for our dear father, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai but we will be testing this mic from this week Insha Allah. See you soon.

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. A few hours ago, the Rt. Hon. Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas GCON, announced my letter of resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and my formal move to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) at plenary. I am now a member of the ADC, and I will be seeking re‑election to continue representing the good people of Kaduna North Federal Constituency on this platform.

I am joined in this new chapter by our respected elder, Hon. Engr. Suleiman Richifa, representing Soba, and my dear brother, Hon. Umar Ajilo, representing Makarfi/Kudan, who both defected from their previous parties to the African Democratic Congress. Together, we are building a home for progressive, people‑focused service.

This decision was not taken lightly. As a proud son of Mallam Nasir @elrufai, I am guided by courage, conviction, and the unshakable belief that our people deserve the very best. To the people of Kaduna North: our work continues, and it will not stop. We will never compromise on delivering quality representation. There is still so much to do.

By the grace of God, I will soon announce the ad hoc committee for the Primary Health Care initiative I unveiled last week. We will be equipping Primary Health Care Centres with medical supplies, starting with 1,000 syringes per PHC and other essential items. Phase I begins with two centres: Unguwar Sarki Ward and Badarawa/Malali Ward.

May Allah SWT continue to guide us as we serve the people. And may He bless Nigeria with the best leaders.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. My brother and the former Youth Leader of Kabala Ward in the APC, Ashiru Mohammed Nagoma lost his amiable wife, Asma’u Nagoma to childbirth complications. Of all losses, maternal mortality hurts the most. But from God we came and to God we return and we are grateful the baby, Asma’u, named after her deceased mother survived. I paid a visit to condole with the entire family. Nagoma is a reliable, honest and genuine human being. He has remained an ally and continues to be steadfast to the members of his community. He was also first the party executive I visited before I began my campaign in 2023. He was introduced to me by my dear friend, Hon. @MuktarBaloni, the former Chairman of Kaduna North Local Government Council and the incumbent Chief Whip of the Kaduna State House of Assembly and Member Representing Doka/Gabasawa, Hon. Aminu Lawal Aunty. May Allah SWT elevate her soul to the highest level of Aljannatul Firdausi. May He grant the family the strength to bear such a loss. On behalf of the people Kaduna North that I proudly serve, I beseech you pray for her gentle soul.

My brief remarks in English on behalf of the family after Mallam Nasir @elrufai’s successful bail hearing by the Federal High Court in Kaduna State. In summary, the rule of law must prevail and the court sessions will not be discussed by my humble self or any member of the family in the media space as stated by the Judge. We are optimistic about Mallam’s innocence and we will continue to proudly stand by him. Our appreciation goes out to everyone that has contributed in our form or the other. May we as are leaders of the public in the executive, legislature and judiciary branches continue to be guided and compelled to do what is morally right, as well as abide by our solemn oath as we discharge our duties to the country.
