@ajesusjoseph Not exactly true - more police-> more charges ->more crowns, more judges, more court backlogs -> more charges thrown out. More expensive justice system with less justice, taking away from social services, health, education. Ontario experience, at least.
In this experiment Dr Rob Thompson of @UniRdg_Met shows just how long it takes water to soak into parched ground, illustrating why heavy rainfall after a #drought can be dangerous and might lead to flashfloods.

Women fleeing domestic violence and are being retraumatized by the convoy protest. Cornerstone says they’re afraid to leave the shelter and while staff are having trouble getting to work, waiting for buses that don’t arrive.
@oneunderscore__ Exploiting of the tragedy of people who suffered, were humiliated, tortured & murdered by the totalitarian regime of Nazi Germany - including children like Anne Frank - in a debate about vaccines & limitations during global pandemic is a sad symptom of moral & intellectual decay.
