The bitter truth of 2021: Afghanistan’s own leaders/politicians abandoned the nation.
From the President to the entire cabinet and parliament including figures like American citizen Maryam Solaiman Khail and many other American, British, Canadian and European passport holders everyone fled. The Defense Minister and top generals like Khushal Sadat and Sami Sadat ran away.They left the Afghan army leaderless.
Ordinary Afghans were never going to fight. Those who should have led had already escaped.
2025 Reality: Pakistan’s armed forces bravely defended the homeland with courage and success. Their heroism united the entire nation shoulder to shoulder behind them. They proved to be the real glue holding Pakistan together.
2026 Reality: Iran’s leadership stood firm refused to surrender and strengthened national resolve.
Lesson: A nation’s fate is decided by the quality of its leadership and the choices it makes.
Afghanistan chose its leaders and politicians. Today it stands where it is.
