I was thrilled to reconnect with my students this AM after an unexpected, extended Thanksgiving break. We are especially grateful for @BaltCoPS for working so hard this past holiday weekend to get us back up and running so quickly!
To my BCPS teacher colleagues; teaching online will NEVER look the same as teaching in person and that's okay. Classroom best practice may not be the same as online best practice. Permit yourself to try and fail. You are 1st year teachers again. #BCPSFromHome
Hi @BaltCoPS! Check out our latest efforts to try to provide additional learning opportunities for students! Shoutout to the amazing Academics team for continuing to learn and grow in their unceasing efforts to help Ts and Ss! We will get better and better!#WhateverItTakes
Hello @elmwoodes school community!! Have you been keeping up with your reading? 📚This great activity allows students to play bingo while reading. Each activity that you do color in the box and see how fast you can get bingo.🖍 Don't forget to have fun completing the tasks. 😀
Students were not only excited to see their classmates on our GMeet this afternoon, but their morning journal prompt sparked some smiles as well! It feels good to provide a sense of familiarity in the midst of adjusting to new norms regarding distance learning. ☺️
We know everyone is grappling with the challenge of keeping students safe and healthy while also building capacity for remote learning. It’s an important moment to realize that learning can—and does—happen anywhere and everywhere.
Due to the closure of schools, Student Learning Resources are being provided for students to access for additional practice during their time off.
These items will not be graded.

Don’t ask school leaders and teachers if they are happy to “have time off”. No, we are not happy and our hearts ache for our students. We want to be at school. We want to see our kids. We want to meet their needs. We want our normal back. #COVIDー19#PrincipalLife#BetterTogether
Already missing watching my students lead each other in Calendar Math each morning. Think about how you can discuss today’s date with your kiddos at home! 📅
