I think a time will come when most people will prefer the simplicity and beauty of non-smart products, direct human interaction, and we will rediscover the satisfaction of using products that don't require constant updates, connections, data intrusions.
I was rushing to pick up my kids from school, already running behind schedule, when I happened to see another parent from the same school. Strangely enough, seeing them made me feel like I wasn't that late after all. But then, my logical side kicked in, reminding me that my tardiness wasn't magically fixed just because someone else was late too.
This whole situation got me thinking about the contrast effect. the psychological trick our minds play where we judge things based on recent comparisons. It happens all the time in everyday life. Take, for example, how hanging out with people who are considered less attractive can somehow boost the perceived attractiveness of someone average, or the other way around.
It's like when a teacher grades a set of papers. If they've just read some outstanding essays, an average one suddenly seems lackluster. Or consider how after chatting with a super extroverted person, someone who's moderately social might come across as shy.
Even our sense of wealth can get skewed. If we're around people who are way wealthier, we might start feeling less affluent, regardless of how comfortable our actual financial situation is. It's fascinating how our perceptions can shift based on what or who is around us.
Admittedly, it's tough for us to be completely objective, as our brains are wired to make these kinds of comparisons. However, by being aware of the contrast effect in our day-to-day lives, we can strive to make more informed and balanced decisions. Recognising this tendency can help us step back and evaluate situations more accurately, leading to choices that are better aligned with reality and our true intentions.
Curious about which job titles are the perfect fit for your profile? Here's something you might find useful. To experiment, I developed a handy application using OpenAI's Custom GPT that simplifies this task for you. All you need to do is upload your CV – yes, it accepts any popular format, even straight from LinkedIn – and the app does the rest. It analyzes your CV and suggests five job titles that align with your experience and skills. But that's not all; it also scours the internet to find current job openings relevant to those titles. Check it out and see how it can streamline your job search: https://t.co/L2jkWHk4G7.

The dua "Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqir" is just the most beautiful and powerful Dua there is. You are basically asking Allah to send any type of good your way that you are in need of and trust Him you will get some news in some form very shortly after.
لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنتَ سُبْحَٰنَكَ إِنِّى كُنتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
la ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimin
This dua works like miracle. Recite if you are distressed and watch your problems disappear
Tahajjud is actually love. When you're in sujood, You cry your heart out filling the prayer mat with tears. You just keep on speaking to Allah and telling Him everything that bothers you. And when you get up your heart feels so much lighter than it was before. You feel at peace.
Marrying someone who brings you closer to Allah and boosts your Imaan is genuinely a blessing, may we all marry a righteous spouse who is always be a reminder, Ameen
