Hey @MurrayWatt let’s talk about mutual obligations and why there’s no place for them. First let’s admit the system is broken and most likely not even legal. Cutting people off of payments which leads to deeper poverty and often homelessness putting someone in a worse situation

One of the arguments for keeping mutual obligations from paid poverty advocates and the government has been that it helps people socialise through volunteering or wftd etc. You can get the same effect by raising payments. Poverty is isolating. Fix that and people will socialise
