Paywall is lifted on my @Telegraph child-rape gangs column. Free to read now.
One of the most important things I’ve ever written. Definitely the most devastating. I hope as many as possible read it. Pls share: https://t.co/pc0xTlUWy9
@thejasonkantor I've noticed a similar thing with oracy. The students that don't have the vocabulary to express themselves get angry, swear etc more quickly
@realgirl_fieri Packing bags night before work and doing a menu for kids lunchboxes at weekend so I don't have to think about it when I'm frazzled midweek!
@Joanna__Hardy Yes definitely! Just wait til singing incessant cocomelon songs at the top of your voice is the only thing to calm them during a motorway delay!
@TTRadioOfficial It's a good thing but should be done strategically and updated throughout the year. Consider diamond model, parallel groups and tier of entry groups rather than just sets 1-6 etc and make sure the context of cohort is considered
@FunkyPedagogy Breadtsicks, crackers, rice cakes, fruit, cheese, olives, avocado, hummus etc My son loves a snack every couple of hours despite eating big meals, so we just mix it up and give him a choice between 2 things. Occasionally biscuit/choc but I decide when this is an option not him.
@emmalgrice@BritishGas Direct debit is often the problem. They fix price rates based upon average consumption but may not be what you actually use. Check actual meter readings and see what your spend is. Try and go to pay when bill arrives option- then you pay what you owe.
@educationgovuk The only way to reduce workload is to reduce contact time. Every hour of teaching has at least another hour of planning, prep, feedback etc
@MrsPTeach My 2 year old does this regularly but puts everything back on again usually back to front. Recently he had a full nappy and that was a disaster!
@adamboxer1 I disagree (as someone who makes these tasks)! I can't believe how many people go for leadership positions and have such little understanding of data trends and necessary interventions.
