Antifascism in TransIT! To celebrate the anniversary of the liberation from fascism which Italy shares with Portugal on April 25th, I bought this print made by Hasta la Gráfica Siempre at my local, independent bookshop Page Against The Machine. Happy liberation from fascism!
A fascinating transnational Italian phenomenon is the mushrooming of Italian communities in the US traditionally called Little Italies. Today, San Pedro Little Italy celebrates the popular "Festa italiana", which attracts visitors from all over Southern California.
On October 15th, TransIT will be officially presented at California State University, Long Beach. It will be an online event, so everybody who likes will be able to attend it. Exciting!
