Personal Home Loan experience:

After how many years of one’s career, should one take Home Loan?

Whether it is 5-10-15 years could change with one’s personal & financial circumstances but I believe strict NO in the first 5-7 years at-least.

I took my Home Loan almost after 10-11 years of professional career - little late though but no regrets since I had enough clarity on many life events then!

Good thing - I ended up settling it within 7-8 years while few of my friends, who took Home Loan early in their career when they had lesser stability & clarity about life events, took 15-20 years to settle.

Learning:
While both sets of borrowers might have paid-back eventually the same amount almost within the same end timeline but one had better Home decision for self-stay purpose, more mental peace, lesser job insecurity challenges during loan tenure etc…

The official fare from Katwa to Bardhaman is ₹50, but yesterday I was forced to pay ₹70.

When I asked for a ticket, the conductor replied, "I'm not obligated to issue one. Even if I do, it'll be for ₹50." He then refused to give me any ticket at all.

This is daylight robbery. In rural areas, many passengers remain silent because they believe the new government has officially increased bus fares. Unscrupulous operators are exploiting that belief to overcharge people and evade accountability.
